Sprinklers are one of the best ways to fight fire during the early stage so that it can help protect life and property. Sprinklers automatically detect fire and instantly suppress it from spreading to nearby areas. The sprinkler releases water to stop fire when it exceeded a predetermined room temperature.
The NSW Government is continually updating its fire safety and protection guidelines for homes and buildings. They will be requiring all nursing homes to have sprinklers installed for fire prevention and protection. The video shows two rooms under a contained fire scenario with the assistance of fire experts. One room is attached with a sprinkler while the other one has no sprinklers installed on it. After 20 minutes the room without the sprinkler was destroyed by the fire while the other one was saved by the sprinkler.
